DingDong Hostel

DingDong Hostel is owned by a lovely couple. Eva, a lovely chinese girl who has travelled to many places around the world. Her boyfriend Tobias is a German Artist who is really in love with China and Chinese culture. We came to Dali as tourists Christmas 2014, and this city is really like Utopia of China, which has drawn in all of our interest. 3 months after visiting, we decided to live in Dali and to make our home a hostel. DingDong Hostel is located in No.1 Red Dragon Well (Hong Long Jing). Outside of our house, is a rivulet coming from the Changshan Mountains, willows waving in the wind, street artists playing guitar... Inside of the hostel, Tobias and Eva have designed the entire space from yard to rooms. We have a huge roof balcony where you have the entire view of Dali Old City, including Changshan Mountains and Erhai lake during daytime. When the night comes, you can stay on the hammock or in the lounge and enjoy the moonlight and music, of course have a beer if you want. We provide 24 hrs Wifi, hot water, towels, slippers and daily housekeeping. It′s a 5mins walk from DingDong Hostel to People Road and Foreigner Road, where you can enjoy the Dali culture and local food as well as foreign cuisine. 3mins walk to the Bar Street if you like to have a wild night.
